Privacy policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal data is involved when you visit twodigits.studio, try the live demo or buy a product from Two Digits Studio (“we”, “us”). It does not cover the plugin once it runs on your own WordPress site: that is described in the plugin documentation.
The short version
- This website has no accounts, contact forms, comments or advertising. It uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits, but only if you accept in the cookie banner. Google Analytics uses cookies.
- If you buy, the payment is handled by Freemius, our authorized reseller. Your card details never reach us.
- We do not sell personal data.
Visiting this website
If you accept in the cookie banner, we measure visits with Google Analytics (Google LLC), loaded through Google Tag Manager. If you reject, or do nothing, it is not loaded. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived (including campaign parameters such as utm_source), your approximate location, your device and browser, and whether you click the buy buttons. Google acts as our analytics provider: its privacy policy describes how it handles that data, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The website is served by Cloudflare, and like any web host it processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the page you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare acts on our behalf as a hosting provider.
The documentation has a search box that runs in your browser, and it stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. That choice stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The live demo
The demo runs in WordPress Playground (playground.wordpress.net), a project of WordPress, entirely in your browser. It downloads the plugin from this website. We do not receive what you type into the demo. Even so, please do not enter real personal data there.
Buying a Pro license
Checkout is provided by Freemius, our authorized reseller and merchant of record.
- When you open the checkout window, your browser loads a script and a frame from Freemius. Freemius receives technical data such as your IP address and browser, and the address of the page you came from, which may include campaign parameters such as
utm_source. - When you buy, Freemius collects your email, name, billing country and postal code, and payment details, and it handles payment, taxes and invoices.
- What we receive from Freemius is what we need to serve you: your name, email, country, and your license and subscription details.
We use it to deliver and manage your license, to give support, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. How Freemius handles your data is described in its privacy policy, and its terms apply to the purchase.
The plugin itself includes the Freemius SDK, which offers an optional screen to connect your site with Freemius (updates, license and usage data). You can skip it, and the plugin works the same. If you accept, Freemius receives your site’s address, your WordPress and PHP versions, the plugin version, and the name and email of your WordPress user; Freemius’ privacy policy describes that data. The data of your forms stays in your own WordPress and is not sent to us or to third parties.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets cookies only through Google Analytics, and only if you accept them in the cookie banner. They let Google recognize a browser between visits and pages. We keep your choice in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, which also deletes the Google Analytics cookies if you reject. The Freemius checkout window may also use cookies or similar storage of its own; see the Freemius cookie policy. You can block them in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on above; the website works the same without them, and the “Buy” links then open the checkout as a normal page.
How long we keep data
We keep purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide your license and support, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Server logs kept by our hosting provider are kept for the time it sets.
Who receives data
Only the providers named above: Cloudflare (hosting), Google (analytics) and Freemius (checkout, payments, licensing). Some of them operate in several countries, so your data can be processed outside the country where you live. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Write to us at the address below. For payment data held by Freemius, you can also contact Freemius directly.
Children
This website and our products are not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page.
